Since Oasis was formed back in 1989, we have given away more than £900,000 in grants to other charities and those working with people living with HIV or undertaking prevention work. Applications for Grants are currently closed and will be reopened again later in 2019.

We welcome applications for funding from registered charities or community groups who are working with people affected by HIV/AIDS, in or from the London Borough of Wandsworth, directly or indirectly. Organisations working on HIV prevention and supporting people with HIV are invited to apply, particularly if you are working with vulnerable or hard to reach groups. We have a strong history of supporting these groups and will continue to welcome applications from all relevant sectors.

The process is simple, straightforward and transparent. Please call if you need advice about how best to apply.

The Funding programme

The funding programme is currently closed. Grants for 2019 will open later this year.

Grants are typically awarded at our annual carol service in December at the Salvation Army Hall in Ram Street, Wandsworth, SW18. Last year's presentation was on the 12th December 2018 at 19:30. Refreshments are served after the service and everyone is welcome to attend.

Grant guidelines

Please take a look at these before submitting your application. Your project should be situated in the London Borough of Wandsworth or should be helping a number of people in or from Wandsworth.

We don't give grants to statutory providers, local council initiatives or NHS trusts. Ideally, organisations will be a registered charity but we will consider applications from support groups or leagues of friends, if they are acting for people living with HIV/AIDS.

You can download the full guidelines document here.

Applying for a grant

Please check back later this year where you will be able to apply and download the form. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any problems.
