Romeo Effs, CEO RSPE Group Plc., has joined the board of Wandsworth Oasis as its new Chair. 

 The respected senior executive, social activist, governance expert and diversity & inclusion specialist will bring a wealth of experience and a robust c-suite network to the charity to further build and enhance its impact. 

 As part of the role, Romeo will be responsible for continuing to develop and shape the charity, securing sponsorship/funding and ensuring it has a voice in both the local community and wider HIV conversation nationally and globally. Romeo is also an advisor to boards and c-suite executives globally and will continue to drive good governance and the diversity agenda across the charity. 

 Romeo is a published author and a lecturer in the Business School at London South Bank University, and is recognised for his progressive stance on inclusion and belonging in business and good corporate governance, having worked with and advised many of the FTSE-250 and Fortune 500 companies globally. He is also a long-term HIV activist having started this work from a young age having seen many persons having super the stigma of being HIV+ in his home country of Jamaica. 

 Wandsworth Oasis was founded in 1989 and through its 11 shops has helped to give over £1m to people living with HIV.
