About Wandsworth Oasis
Since its foundation in 1989, Wandsworth Oasis has provided support to – and challenged stigma towards – those living with HIV.
Using revenue generated by our nine charity shops located in London, as well as fundraising initiatives, we provide small and large grants to organisations providing direct support and prevention services to HIV positive individuals.

An ugly Christmas jumper is a beautiful thing- so why do we waste so many? You may only wear it once a year, but there`s no need to throw it away. Wandsworth Oasis has been proud to serve our community for over 30 years, raising money through our charity shops to support people living with HIV.
Like many charities and retailers, we face increasing financial pressures. To protect our mission, our trustees have taken the difficult decision to close four of our shops. Decisions have now been made on the shops that are to be closed. These are Balham, Mitcham Lane (Furzedown), Putney, and Amen Corner.
These changes will allow us to focus on our strongest shops and ensure that every pound raised goes further in supporting people living with HIV. Please continue to visit us in our Islington, Clapham, Battersea, and Tooting shops.
We are deeply grateful to our staff, volunteers, and customers who make our work possible. We remain committed to our mission and to working with partners to maximise our impact in the future.

We are sad to announce that today the 28th Nov is the last day of trading for our Balham and Furzedown shops. We would like to thank our wonderful local communities, our volunteers, and everyone who has donated to us over the years for the support they have given us.
